No one wants to hear your "expert" opinion on coaching or umpiring. If you have a hard time keeping thoughts to yourself, consider watching via Gamechanger.
And we shouldn't have to say this, but unfortunately, it happens. Please do not yell at coaches or umpires. Ever. Ever. Ever. Infinity.
You don't have the tip that will change the game. Imagine giving an important presentation at your next board meeting. Now imagine someone commenting on every move you make, everything you say, and the timing of how you say it. Don't make us call HR.
Make new friends, talk to "opposing" parents, and enjoy the afternoon. We're all one big community with one thing in common: the love of the game. (And if you don't love the game, you will after this season. We promise.)
We get that parents can be extra spicy. Take your restraint as a personal challenge. We believe in you!
Remember when your mama said less is more? She probably wasn't talking about baseball.
(We are.)
Unless a 12-player pileup happens on the field, leave the umpiring to the umpire. Leave the coaching to the coaches.
