PIT VIPERS, PLEASE INGEST.

BE READY TO STRIKE.

Keep your eyes off the scoreboard and on the field. A game can change with just one hit, so stay focused and let the other team pick the overgrown dandelions in right field.

BE SILENT, NOT DEADLY.

Pit Vipers don't blame umpires, coaches, fans, or last night's dinner for their performance. Own what you do and next time do it better.

SHOW COLD-BLOODED CLASS.

Tuck in your jersey, take a knee for injured players, and compliment your teammates - even when Bad Brad strikes out looking for the fifth time. We never want to see or hear you put another player down. Don't make your teammates feel like dirt - because in this case, dirt does hurt.

SHED YOUR SKIN TO WIN.

Baseball is a complex sport, and Pit Vipers know that growth takes time and persistence. Even if results aren't showing up right away, you need to practice, practice, practice. (And then practice some more, while your parents wonder why they didn't just sign you up for soccer.)

"Venom belongs with the ball, not the ball player." Coach Sloane
